In March I bought 30 Khaki Campbell ducks, with the help of my dad I converted a stable into a duck pen and built an outdoor area for them to freely roam during the day.
The ducks are very happy and are fed a good grain based diet to keep them at their highest possible standard. I make sure they have access to clean water 24 hours a day and fresh bedding is given to them every 24 hours.
Duck eggs can be used in exactly the same way as hen's eggs with regards to cooking and eating. Duck eggs have a richer flavour and a slightly bigger, stronger orange yolk.
Again, like hen's eggs, I aim to get the eggs to you within 24-36 hours to ensure the best possible quality and freshness.
